About the Journal

Journal of Shalamar Medical & Dental College (JSHMDC) is the official journal of the Shalamar Medical and Dental College, Lahore, Pakistan. JSHMDC is an OPEN ACCESS, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary medical journal that publishes biannually. It publishes scholarly work from Medical Sciences and Allied Health Sciences.

It is recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, and the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP).  JSHMDC is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Index Medicus East Mediterranean Region (IMEMR), Google Scholar, Pakmedinet, Tehqeeqat, and the Asian Research Index.
