Withdrawal Policy

Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is a serious breach of publication ethics and will not be tolerated. Authors are expected to wait for a final decision from the Journal before submitting their manuscript elsewhere.

Requesting a Withdrawal

An author wishing to withdraw a manuscript during processing (i.e., at any point before a final decision on acceptance) must send an official written request to the Editor-in-Chief, stating the reason for withdrawal. The request must be signed or co-signed by all listed authors, or be accompanied by written confirmation from the corresponding author that all co-authors have been informed and agree to the withdrawal.

No manuscript is considered withdrawn until the Editor-in-Chief has acknowledged the request in writing. Manuscripts that are resubmitted elsewhere without this acknowledgment will be treated as a case of undisclosed dual submission, and the Journal reserves the right to notify the authors' institution(s) and to decline future submissions from the corresponding author.

Withdrawal Due to Review Delays

If peer review or the editorial decision is delayed beyond the timeframe published by the Journal, the Editor-in-Chief will inform the corresponding author of the reason for the delay and offer the option to withdraw the manuscript at that time, should the author wish to do so.

Withdrawal After Acceptance

Once a manuscript has been reviewed and formally accepted for publication, it cannot be withdrawn at the author's request. This restriction protects the integrity of the peer review process and prevents authors from withdrawing accepted work to seek publication elsewhere.

This rule applies only to author-requested withdrawals. The Editor-in-Chief can still pause, correct, or pull an accepted manuscript before it is published if a serious problem comes to light — for example, plagiarism, faked or altered data, an undisclosed conflict of interest, a dispute between authors, or any other breach of research ethics. These situations are covered by the Journal's Research and Publication Ethics Policy, not by this Withdrawal Policy.

Concerns identified after publication are addressed exclusively under the Journal's Correction and Retraction Policy.
