Open Access Policy

Journal of Shalamar Medical & Dental College (JSHMDC) is an OPEN ACCESS journal.

·       It is published online and in print.  All papers published by JSHMDC are immediately available online for free, with no charges to users.

  • The full text of all content is available for free and with open access without delay.
  • JSHMDC is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any non-commercial, lawful purpose, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
  • JSHMDC offers free readership rights to all readers of all articles immediately upon publication.
  • There is no embargo period.
  • There is no requirement for users to register to read content online.
  • Libraries may separately subscribe to receive the print edition of the journal. This subscription is optional and applies to the physical print copy only — it does not affect free, immediate online access to the full text, which remains available to all users at no charge.
